Nestled just east of Washington, DC, Prince George's County is the second most populous county in Maryland. It is home to more than 910,000 residents from different racial and socio-economic groups. Accounting for 62% of the population, Black residents make up the largest demographic of the county.

Prince George's County is proud to be home to seven Colleges and Universities, including the University of Maryland, Bowie State University and Prince George's Community College.

Prince George’s County is also home to several government facilities, including U.S. military airbase Joint Base Andrews and the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters.
 

The main visitor attractions include the National Habor, Six Flags, and FedEx Field, home of the Washington Commanders.
